Weekly Exfoliation

Tired of dishing out lots of money for a facial? Well you might not have to anymore. I was skeptical at first to make the Neutrogena microdermasion investment but I am so glad I did. This system is absolutely fabulous. After one use of this system my face felt incredibly smooth and soft. The recommended usage is 3 times a week for best results but if you have dry sensitive skin once a week is more than sufficient enough. This is a great way to exfoliate.

All about Fuchsia

It seems that everywhere you look the blue eyeliner, fuchsia lips, orgasmic cheeks and dramatic eye falsies are dominating the beauty world today. My current makeup look is all about “fuchsia”. Most women are afraid of bright colors. One look at that bright fuchsia lipstick would have probably sent you running for the hills. But what most women don’t realize is that there is a shade of fuchsia lipstick/gloss for everyone out there. It’s just a matter of finding it. Fuchsia looks GREAT on all skin tones. You can use it straight from the tube or you can downplay it by adding a light shade on top to neutralize. So hit your nearest beauty store or beauty counter and find your perfect shade.

LUSH Bars

MmmmM.... LUSH soaps smells so delicious that one wishes they were good enough to eat. I couldn't make up my mind what I wanted to get because there were some tough choices. After 20 mins I decided on the porridge soap, I should Coco, Mud soap (good exfoliate) Sultana of soap and a moisturizer bar soap that the sales clerk insisted I should get. These vegan soaps leaves no residue and no high scent behind.

N.Y MAKEUP SHOW 2009

cream shadows
Ok, so this post was LONG over due. I’ve been meaning to do this post for the longest but haven’t gotten around to it until today. Since this was my first year at the makeup show and I didn’t know what to expect I sure snagged some really good stuff at a really good price. I was lured to the temptu stand where an airbrushing demo was being done and before I knew it, I was sitting in the “I make you Beautiful” makeup chair by the well'renouned makeup artist DanessaMyricks. Delighted by the really pigmented cream shadows, my eyes were beautifully done in peacock colors half an hour later.

Pallet: this is a one stop shop color deal for me. The colors are amazingly rich in color and matte without any sparkles that might lead them to flake easily. I didn’t get a chance to play with these yet but I’m sure I can squeeze some time in.

OCC lip tar: Lip tars are the new lip stains. A little sure goes a long way and a tube might last you 8 months or more. You can either layer upon color or play this extremely rich tone down with gloss. The staining power in this baby calls for no re-applying.
